Haidara Foundation for Peace and Human Development implemented the Eid Adhahi project for poor families in the capital’s secretariat today.
During the distribution, the president of the Foundation, Suhair Al-Maeedhi, explained that the project implemented by the Foundation with the support of the United Humanitarian Foundation, targeted 300 poor and most needy families.
She stated that the distribution of Adhahi meat comes within the framework of the humanitarian activities implemented by the Foundation annually in order to alleviate the suffering of poor families in light of the difficult conditions in the country.
Al-Maeedhi stressed the keenness of the Foundation and its partners to continue working to alleviate the suffering of citizens through a package of projects and activities included in its plan for the current year in a number of humanitarian and relief fields.
She praised the cooperation of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in supporting the Foundation’s efforts to implement its projects and humanitarian activities.
For his part, the representative of the Humanitarian Affairs Council, Fayez Jaber, pointed out the importance of these projects to alleviate the suffering of poor families in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the ongoing war. He praised the efforts of the Haidara Foundation and the United Humanitarian Foundation in serving the community.
