PMD course was launched today in Sana’a, which was organized
by Haidara Foundation for Peace and Human Development for six days.
Sohaer Abdulrahman Al-Maedhi,Head of the foundation, made clear that the course mainly targets the Non governmental organizations through training them on the latest methods of projects management.
She pointed out that the course, which will be accredited by Arab board for consulting and training, aims to enhance the performance of NGOs because it includes the knowledge and the necessary information to success in any projects or activities that are implemented by those organizations, in the fields of development, humanitarianism, relief, and other fields.
She also said that the course focuses on several axes, including preparation, planning, implementation of project, time management, resources, risks, and stakeholders.
The head of the foundation confirmed that the participants will be trained according to the method of ‘PMD pro’ for projects management in the development sector, starting with data collection, data analysis,intervention, evaluation, follow-up process, and other aspects. As well as supplying them with necessary information about the stages of the project in the development sector to success in its management and make them able to elaborate 15 of the modern techniques in management.
The trainees will be given an accredited certificate from Arab Board, along with a certificate of participation from Haidara Foundation, also electronic files, books and scientific references in project management.
