Human Development continues today the project of distributing Eid Al-Fitr Clothing
for more than 1000 child of the displaced families, the war-affected families and the poorest families in several provinces in the capital city of Sana’a.
The Executive Director of the foundation Mr AbdulJabbar Al-Bahri, declared that about one thousand and a hundred child benefited from the project in the targeted provinces of the capital city from the families of the displaced, orphans, war-affected and the poorest.
He confirmed that the clothing was distributed in the foundation’s headquarters in the first phase of the project, which included the provinces of Al-Safia, Shamlan, Shomaila and Al-Tahrir.
He pointed out that during the second phase of the project, visits were paid to the targeted families to distribute the clothing in the neighborhoods of Al-Hasba, Hiziz and the displaced in the neighborhood of Atan.
He also clarified that the distribution process took a place in accordance with a carefully studied plan made by the foundation to organize the process of sorting the field survey and selecting the neediest and poorest families.
Therefore, he confirmed that the aggression caused a humanitarian crisis for the thousands of the families leading them towards the poverty, pointing out that the number of the families in need exceeds the capabilities of any foundation or local organization which made it necessary for the international organizations to cooperate to avoid the tragedy.
He revealed that the foundation intends to implement the next Eid Clothing in the governorates in addition to absorb new beneficiaries in the capital city which were identified by the field survey committees.
Additionally, he appreciated the role of the field committees and the heads of the neighborhoods who have cooperated with the foundation to make the project successful and provide happiness to a thousand child.
He also pointed out that the foundation will implement projects and symbiosis programs immediately after the Eid occasion, the most important of which is the launch of training courses for the targeted families in the field of small income-generating projects to contribute in decreasing their suffering and securing their livelihood.
The executive director of the foundation expressed the hope that the local and international organizations will cooperate in the implementation of the coming projects that serve the community.
