On the occasion of the International Day for Humanitarian Work, and under the auspices and coordination of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation and the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, the Haidara Foundation for Peace and Human Development and the United Humanitarian Foundation honored the staff of its charitable bakery for their tremendous efforts and dedicated work.
At the honoring ceremony, the Director General of Social Affairs and Labor in the Capital Municipality, Mr. Nasser Al-Kahli, affirmed that charitable work is a moral, humanitarian and religious duty that is obligatory to be presented to people from the wealthy and organizations to every poor and needy due to the dire economic situation that Yemen has reached due to the years of war and siege .. praising the role of the Haydara Foundation in humanitarian Since its inception with self-efforts until the present day, it has been able to achieve many meaningful and sustainable development projects, especially after the establishment of its auxiliary organization in the United States of America, the United Humanitarian Foundation.
At the ceremony honoring the employees of the charity bakery of the Foundation and the Director of Human Resources of the Foundation, Mr. Arafat Abdul Rahman, on the occasion of the International Day of Humanitarian Work, Professor Al-Kahli praised the role of the Foundation in providing charitable assistance to the needy through the charity bakery, which targets 5000 beneficiaries on a daily basis in the capital, Sana’a, stressing that the Haidara Foundation is its partners in the humanitarian foundation The United Nations is the forerunner in this humanitarian field, calling on the rest of the humanitarian organizations to take the initiative to provide such charitable work.
The Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in the capital Sana’a added, “We appreciate all the efforts of charitable and humanitarian institutions for the humanitarian work they provide that aims to alleviate the hardship and need for some needy and poor families who have been affected by the war over the past nine years.”
Al-Kahli congratulated the honored employees of the charitable bakery of the Haidara Foundation, who had an active role in performing their duties, which reflected positively on the continuity of providing meals to poor families.
For her part, the President of the Haidara Foundation for Peace and Human Development, Suhair Abdul Rahman Al-Moaidi, pointed out the importance of honoring workers in charitable work, which is a humanitarian act in itself, as they work day and night to alleviate the suffering of people and families in need and motivate them to exert more humanitarian effort provided through them.
She drew attention to the importance of cooperation and synergy in order to serve the needy, especially those who have lost their livelihood and strength as a result of the ongoing war and the difficult living conditions that a large proportion of the country’s population suffers from.
She explained that the number of families targeted by the charity bakery is 600 families with 5,000 beneficiaries, and this is a positive thing and falls within the charitable humanitarian projects offered by the Foundation in cooperation with the United Humanitarian Foundation.
The head of the Haidara Organization for Peace and Human Development thanked the charitable bakery staff, noting that this staff has a sense of charity and humanity, wishing them to continue this humanitarian approach so that the foundation can continue the charitable journey in order to alleviate the suffering of those in need and the poor.
In addition, the Director of Human Resources, Arafat Abdul Rahman Al-Maeedhi, who deservedly received the (Shield of Excellence and Creativity), expressed his thanks and gratitude for the efforts of the charitable bakery staff in the Foundation, thanks to whom success was achieved in providing humanitarian work towards the poor and needy.
He pointed out that the Haidara Foundation was found to provide aid and assistance to the Yemeni people in light of the current exceptional circumstances they are living through, based on the national responsibility towards this people who are suffering from difficult humanitarian conditions.
