The Food Basket distribution project was launched today, Thursday, for 200 displaced and the poorest families in the capital Sana’a, funded by the Human Development Fund, coordinated by the United Humanitarian Foundation, and implemented by the Haidara foundation for peace and humanitarian development, under the auspices and supervision of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs.
During the distribution, Yahya Al-Haddad, director of the Office of the “director of the council branch” of the Supreme Council of the capital Secretariat, confirmed that distributing humanitarian aid during the month of Ramadan and in the difficult circumstances that our country is going through is necessary and a humanitarian work to help poor and displaced families.
Al-Haddad praised the Haidara foundation for its great efforts in helping the needy and poor families in order to alleviate the suffering they face in the current circumstances .
For her part, the president of the Haidara foundation for peace and Human Development, Suhair Al-moaidi, confirmed that the launch of this project comes within the foundation’s annual sustainable efforts to help poor and needy families in order to bring joy and pleasure to those families during the holy month, stressing that this project comes within the framework of projects and activities for the current year in order to alleviate the suffering of poor and destitute families in light of the difficult conditions the country is going through at the current circumstance.
