The local authority, the branch of the Supreme Council, and the Haidara Foundation for Peace and Development, in the Bajil District of Hodeidah Governorate, completed Al-Nasr City project in Al-Zumi by giving 75 housing units, each house consisting of two rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a hall.
Today, under the guidance of the Director of the Supreme Council Branch in Hodeidah, Jaber Al-Razhi, and the Director General of the Directorate, Abdul Moneim Al-Rifai, the assigned committee delivered housing units to the 75 beneficiaries with special needs and the poorest in the Directorate.
During the handover, the local secretary of the district, Muhammad Maafa, and the coordinator of the Supreme Council branch in the district, Mohieddin Shara, stressed the importance of these humanitarian projects in alleviating the suffering of the targeted groups of the poor, the vulnerable, and people with special needs.
In the presence of General Mobilization Officer Yasser Al-Hassani, and the representative of the security and intelligence of the eastern directorates, Muhammad Al-Sahari, Ma’afah praised the interventions of the Haidara Foundation for Human Development, for providing shelter for such cases, especially in light of the current conditions resulting from the aggression and siege.
For her part, the President of the Haidara Foundation for Peace and Development, Suhair Al-Maeedhi, confirmed that the project was funded by the United Humanitarian Foundation (UHF), as it was preceded by other two projects to build 5 units and 25 housing units in the Jabal Al-Sharif area, targeting the most needy groups of the floods affected and those with special needs.
Al-Maeedhi, in the presence of the representative of the “Adwan Foundation for Contracting and Logistical Support”, Abdul Majeed Al-Sahari, indicated that the housing projects came according to field studies in coordination and participation with the local authority, the Supreme Council branch, and relevant authorities, to know the conditions of the beneficiaries, and to provide appropriate sites to build the units.
The President of the Haidera Foundation, praised the efforts of the local authority, the branch of the Supreme Council in the governorate and the district, and the relevant authorities, in facilitating the completion and success of the project, in the presence of the project managers, Bassam Al-Subaie, and the Human Resources Officer, Arafat Al-Maeedhi.
In turn, the beneficiaries expressed their satisfaction for this generous gesture, which saved them from the burdens and suffering of rents, unfit for human habitation. They were grateful for everyone who contributed to achieving their impossible dream, and they wished the concerned authorities to complete their joy, by providing water, education, electricity, and health services.
The handover was attended by the representative of Knights of Development, Nabil Al-Sakabi, and a number of officials, leaders, and social figures.
