The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation “Mr Ibrahim Al-Hamli”, opened the UHF housing project today, for the most affected families, in Bajel district in Hudaydah.
The project includes 75 housing units, each unit, contains two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen, for the floods affected families, the poor, and Mohamashin in Bajel district, at a cost of $435,000, funded by the United Humanitarian Foundation (UHF) and the implementation of the Haidara Foundation.
During the opening, which was attended by the Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation, Mohammed Al-Raza’a, and the President of the Haidara Foundation, Suhair Al-Maeedhi, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council, stressed that the project contributes to alleviating their suffering.
He pointed out the keenness and interest of the Supreme Council in helping the most affected families through implementing such projects. He stressed the need for the quality of the houses and providing them with water tanks.
In turn, the President of the Haidara Foundation praised the efforts of the Supreme Council in implementing the project, as it provides shelter for the most affected families.
The opening was attended by the Director General of Local Organizations Abdul Salam Al-Nawab, and a number of local authority officials.
