Haidara Foundation for Peace and Development today honored the Governor of Hodeidah, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, and Director of the Humanitarian Affairs Council (Hodeidah branch), Jaber Al-Razehi, in recognition of their efforts accompanying the path of humanitarian action in the governorate’s directorates.
During the honoring, the President of the Foundation, Suhair Al-Maeedhi, presented humanitarian work shields to the governor and the director of the humanitarian affairs branch in the governorate, expressing appreciation for the active role of the leadership of the governorate and the council branch in supporting the Foundation to implement its humanitarian and charitable projects.
Governor Qahim expressed his thanks to the Foundation for this honor and its positive activity in implementing qualitative projects with sustainable impact, including the project to build housing units for the poor affected by floods in Bagel district.
He stressed the keenness of the local authority in the governorate to provide all facilities for the implementation of projects and humanitarian works that touch the suffering of the affected and poorest segments of society, to alleviate the burdens and address part of the damage suffered by the governorate as a result of the aggression and siege.
While the Director of the Branch of the Supreme Council, Al-Razehi, stressed that the Council counts on humanitarian partners to work in expanding interventions and projects in line with needs in various fields due to the continued humanitarian repercussions and difficulties experienced by thousands of families in the governorate.
The honoring was attended by the Foundation’s project managers, Bassam Khaled, and Arafat Abdul Rahman.
